***DISCLAIMER***
Don't hassle me about the names! Lol Also, as
soon as I figure out how I'm going to make little sub forums for
certain aspects of this. So a sub forum for side characters,
locations, etc. But you shouldn't expect anything like that for a
while since as far as I have the story in my head the heroes won't
quite be leaving the starting location for a while. Anyway, without
further adieu, the first set of primary locations. :)
Anyway, with this done look forward to the
first chapter soon! :)
Katalina Star
Titanie
The third planet of the Legendary System.
With...science stuff I don't know about geography. It's like Earth,
okay? Sorry, pets, I can't get into that sort of detail here. If you
must know things like climate, day cycles, rotations, and what have
you I'll try and answer them.
-Jennaton
Named for the famed hero of ages past, Jennaton
is the capital city of Titanie and hosts a real mixture of classes
and species while offering varying forms of entertainment and
business. It's known as the only real true city in this light and as
well as the title of the oldest on Titanie. It houses the Golden
Palace, Titanie's seat of political power, and the fortress Titania
along the coast. Dear lord, I was young when I came up with these,
alright? Lol
Over the centuries, Jennaton has found itself
under attack from various invaders both on world and off and finds
itself being classified the “rival city” of nearby Slutton. In
fact, Jennaton has fallen so much under attack that its own defenses
have become nearly the top in the entire galaxy as it's been decades
since any form of attack has been made successfully on the city
walls. Unfortunately, despite it's grand scale in size, Jennaton has
been barred from opening a space port on account of the Bettica
accord following the city's recent war with Slutton.
-Slutton
A human city and certainly proud of it.
Demi-humans, as they have become known by humans (which include and
are not limited to elves, cat people, orcs, etc.) have been banned
from ever setting foot inside of its walls. However, there is one way
for such species to enter; that is to be a slave to a human. There is
not a single case of a free demi-human within the city limits and any
that are caught often either face an auction or they become Shades,
black latex clad individuals with all senses removed left to wander
the city completely oblivious to all goings on. Several would be
heroes have met their end this way as this is an automatic sentence
to any human showing compassion of any sort to demi-humans.
Slutton is also home to Divas, a famous night
club housing the galaxy's top tier talent for song, dance, or plays.
Set up just off the coast west of Slutton is Valkyrie Spaceport,
another landmark named for a famous wartime hero. It is among the one
of the only three methods off the planet but is certainly not the
most dangerous, especially toward demi-humans.
-Jennaton
University
A massive centre for learning located just
outside the city limits of Jennaton. Inside the school is divided
into two halfs; humans and demi-humans. Unfortunately, this
separation is on the grounds of extreme bigotry between the two
factions as amidst learning slavery is the biggest deal going on
within this school. Students are often kidnapped from either end of
the school and sold through auction. Things within the school have
gotten so bad that even the political factions in Jennaton have come
to overlook school events leaving the university to essentially
govern itself.
-University
Spaceport
Quite
possibly the safest, although most expensive way to get onto Titanie,
the university spaceport is an exclusive mode of transportation for
students allowing even demi-humans to attend their classes without
being hassled by Slutton authorities. It's small and offers no room
for private flights but most demi-humans don't even mind paying for
tickets and a tuition to the university, even if it goes unused, just
to get into Jennaton.
-The
Mall
North of Jennaton, across the vast expanse of
greenery, is the underground mall that has long since lost it's
original purpose. No one even recalls what the mall used to be like
as it has been classified a high danger zone as its shops have long
since become home to what has simply been dubbed the “Mall
Creature”. As no one has ever ventured there recently, legends of
its size and ferocity are all anyone can go by when describing it.
It's also been said that there were heroes who could tame the beast,
even if only for a short while before it reverted back into its feral
state. Whether or not the Mall Creature is even still alive is
something no one wishes to put to any test at the moment.
-Seven
Sisters Cave
North of the mall is the uninhabited spot of
magical energy on Titanie. It's said that when seven warriors meet
within this spot they will become imbued with magical power.
Unfortunately, for there to be a new set of seven the complete old
set must either relinquish their powers or become deceased. While
it's sought out for it's power, no one really aches in going in
seeing as how the cave is a direct route to...
-Abyss
The source of every evil creature roaming the
open land of Titanie. The Abyss is a portal much like a portal at the
core of every world and acts as a travel point between them.
Unfortunately, travel through the realm is no easy feat as every
portal leads directly to the planet Abyss and every portal there
leads to another planets Abyss. So, basically, it's out of the frying
pan, into the fire, and straight into another frying pan for those
that try and follow this means of transportation.
-Elfwood
Across the mountains just east of Jennaton,
lies a massive forest with a single village of xenophobic elves. So
much so that they tend to enslave any outsider and keep them working
out of the village but still in the forest itself. Once they've
proven themselves they may be asked to join in with the society.
Aside from that, not much else is known about this location.
-Alexandria
A desert city on the second continent of
Titanie. Their queen doesn't recognize the governing body centred in
Jennaton or really even the universe thus putting the Alexandrian
queen up as a Goddess. The city is centred on status and how it's
made is through possessions. Possessions of people put into the role
of furniture. It's gotten so bad that pirates and other style hunters
will be hired by single individuals to obtain as many pieces of human
furniture as possible as stealing anothers items within city limits
is very much frowned upon. In fact, anyone caught with a stolen
possession will have everything they own put up on a Queen's Auction
leaving the person with nothing. Stolen items are found by brands and
when used furniture is sold in a Queen's Auction, those brands will
be removed via skin shaving so a new brand can be put in place. Just
like with Slutton, many would be adventurers have met their end here.
-Sorceress'
Playground
Otherwise known as Tomb of the Goddess, it's a
claimed burial location of the once great hero, Jenna. Unfortunately,
like many other claimed burial plots this one cannot be confirmed nor
denied given that anyone who goes in to test its authenticity has
been met with some sort of mental order to worship the outside. Bones
scatter around the entrance all facing toward the tomb serve as the
reminder that whether this is the legit burial plot of Jenna, it's
wise not to go in and check.
-Isle
of Dragoons
Dragoons, otherwise known as Dragon Knights,
form their pacts with their dragon representative here, on this very
tiny and incredible reclusive island set in the middle of waterfalls.
In fact, the only way to make landfall on this jungle island between
the two continents is having a master seafarer, an incredibly sturdy
ship, and a helluva lot of luck. Even then being granted a pact with
a dragon isn't always the case as one must go through several trials
in order to even be considered. The dragons are; Star, Light, Dark,
Earth, Fire, Water, Air, and Divine while also working through
classes going from Squire, Knight, Cleric, and Paladin.
