So I had an interesting question
proposed toward me earlier this morning, really as a question someone
else was asked and then they turned it to me. Anyway, the thing is
the question finally made its way to me. Why do people often subject
themselves to my line of work? In other words, what makes a client
want to be a client? To be perfectly honest the best person to ask
over such things is the client themselves, but I'll give you a list
of common reasons I've come across over the past few years. DO
NOT WORRY.
Privacy is still my chief concern here so I won't be naming any
names. Some might think I'm targeting them specifically, but like I
said these are all common reasons. The list is, of course, set in no
particular order given that I don't keep a tally of what reason is
given.
- Sexual Desires
You
saw this one coming didn't you? You had to have seen this one coming.
Just mention the letters “B-D-S and M” in that order and people
automatically assume this is the reason. Most bondage porn is made
for this very reason. It isn't that I'm so sophisticated
as
to look down upon such a reason for doing this, often times it's fun
to just...do it until someone squirts. Maybe even a little more
after. ;)
- They feel beneath ______.
It's not uncommon to come across this sort of behavior in a person.
Their stories are often a sad one that would make any person with a
beating heart weep. Often it involves a troubled past, something
they're just trying to run away from. It can also be someone off on
the flip side, someone who just doesn't want to contribute to society
so they put on the collar. Yes, this is where I've found most of the
live ins in this world. (Live in being a slave or submissive who
lives with their dom) More often for myself it's the former of the
two examples. It's these ones, obviously, you need to be careful in
your handling. Most of them are already shattered individuals, it is
easy to push them over the edge but it takes a really uncaring person
to do that.
- The Curious
I absolutely adore these types. Most of them understand their limits
and aren't shy in expressing while at the same time are eager to try
things out. Most times they've done the research to understand and
accept what you can give them and you can always expect the most
banter with them. Those for the sex generally moan and you get a
“Yes, Mistress” from the second but the curious ones will offer
back some feedback. Unless they're gagged of course. It's also the
curious types that help me to learn more of what I can offer. After
all, it's these types that brought about such additions to the
Dungeon as the pool, hamster cage, and marionette theatre.
I'm not saying I don't appreciate the others, just I do have my
favorite. Just like I have my least favorite.
- The “Invincible”
All that said, I do feel I need to go on a bit of a rant. I've
mentioned this before, but one of my least favorite types of clients
are those who feel they can take everything. I won't turn them away,
but I won't fully commit myself in the role of a dominant for them.
Because to me they don't fit into any of the aforementioned styles,
they're just...suicidal. They don't care what happens to themselves,
they don't care what you know and what you can do. All they care
about is being whipped.
So there you are. It's a very short, very quick list, but I hope it's
understood that there are other reasons besides what you find on
certain sites people do this sort of thing. I could go into deeper
detail over the various kinks and why people often find themselves
there...but that would be getting a little too personal and perhaps
uncomfortable with those I work with.
